i know the feeling........its not like trading in a car.....our kids grow up in these and you have very fond memmories.....it was hard to give up our last TT.........specialy when you go back and look at your photo album.........

i took it a step farther.........i took off dealers name (as i do with my auto's) and replaced the jayco's bird logo with the big sneakers for what i call my TT......hehe.....:)

hey mike, the sanus mount holds great...i wanted to make double sure it was secure and that is why i opted to install a 2x4 on the inside ward and bolt it on...the beuty of this is you can unscrew the mount and lay it on the bed in 5 seconds......but i havent had any trouble as i tighten the arm so it doesnt move whilr traveling....also the bedroom lcd is 19'' so not heavy at all.....the living room is a 27'' and it just sits on the platform i made......and i lay it on the bed when traveling...i would love to see yours.......
Hey z_i_m... does that mount hold okay going down the road? I just installed a 26" LCD in my trailer and decided to use a post mount and feet to keep it stable since none of the arms I looked at seemed up to the task (pictures to follow soon).
Just for kicks I setup a video camera in the trailer on our last trip. The shaking, vibration and noises while going down the road are crazy!
BTW... you motorhome guys are killing us with these cool mods in those huge basement storage compartments (that we'd love to have)!

i said 1/2 tons or less......example.......12000 lb 30' super slide was being pulled by a 1989 1/2 ford short bed.........and it ended up in a ditch........another was i mid sized pickup 6cyl same situation......just to clarify.........outdoorsman got it...;)

im a first reponder where i live and i personaly have been on 3 calls involving TT roll overs.....all 3 were on clear days involving TT's 29' or more with slides on down grades.........all 3 TV's were 1/2 or less.........need i say more.
Maybe you should say more! are you claiming that only 1/2 ton trucks have RV accidents? I could only assume that if there is any truth to your above statement, to me it means there are a lot more 1/2 tons towing with uneducated drivers.

thinking of replacing the jay's over sized sneakers with the wording "break time" on the back of mine..........btw....we have a vinyl department so i can get exact matched decals and customize me self...top photo is factory:C
